Your privacy is important to Floorpop. We will never sell your information or spam you.

Floorpop is a search marketing consultancy for home builders. This policy explains what information we collect on www.floorpop.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What this policy covers

This policy covers floorpop.com and the information you give us through it, including contact forms, free offer requests and the emails that follow.

It does not cover:

• Our clients’ marketing data. When a home builder hires us, we may work inside their analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile and ad accounts. We handle that data under each client’s agreement and confidentiality terms, not this policy.
• Other websites. Sites we link to are covered by their own privacy policies.

Information we collect

What you give us

When you fill out a form or email us, we collect what you send, such as:

• Your name and work email
• Your company name and website
• Details about your request, such as how many communities you have, the markets you serve, or the city and searches you want scanned
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it
• Anything you write in a message

What’s collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses analytics tools that record how the site is used: pages viewed, how you got here (for example, a search engine or a link), general location such as city or region, device and browser type, and time on page.

We use this to see which pages help visitors and to improve the site. We never send your name, email or anything you type into a form to an analytics tool.

Our hosting provider also processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks and spam.

Public information about your company

To prepare a free audit, AI information page or map pack scan, we review public information about your company, such as your website, search results, map listings and public mentions. This is information about your business, not about you personally.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Prepare and send what you asked for, such as your SEO audit, AI information page, map pack scan or quote
• Answer your questions and follow up about your request
• Provide our services, and handle contracts and invoices, if you become a client
• Keep the site secure and filter out spam
• Understand how the site is used and improve it

Emails from us

We’ll email you about your request. We won’t add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you choose to join one. Our forms include an optional box, “Notify me of new home builder free tools I will actually use.” If you tick it, we’ll occasionally email you when we release a new free tool for home builders. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any of those emails. If we ever offer a newsletter, signing up will be your choice, and every issue will include an unsubscribe link.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We currently use these tools:

• Google Analytics measures traffic and how pages perform, and it uses cookies. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, or block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without using cookies.

We may add or change analytics and measurement tools over time. When we do, we’ll update this list.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.

Do Not Track: There’s no common standard for how websites should respond to a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal, so this site doesn’t change how it works when it receives one. You can still block cookies or use the opt-out add-on above.

Embedded content

Some pages may include content from other services, such as a YouTube video or a booking calendar. These services can collect information as if you visited them directly, and they may track your activity across other websites under their own privacy policies. We use privacy-enhanced versions of embeds where they’re available.

How we share information

We never sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with other companies for their own use. That includes partners, other agencies and referral contacts.

We do use a small number of service providers to run the site and do our work. They handle information only on our behalf, to provide their service to us:

• Website hosting and security
• Form processing and email delivery
• Email, calendar and file storage
• Crawling, SEO and mapping tools, which we use to analyze your public website and search presence
• AI tools, which help us analyze information and draft your results
• Accounting and invoicing tools, if you become a client
• Our PPC partner, GriffithX (April Griffith), when you ask for a free PPC audit or other paid search help. GriffithX uses your information only to do that work with us.

The only other time we would disclose your information is if the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order.

How long we keep information

• If you contact us but don’t become a client, we keep your information for up to 3 years after our last contact, then delete it.
• If you become a client, we keep it while we work together, and afterward for as long as we need it for legal, tax and accounting records.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices and rights

Anyone can ask us to:

• Show you the personal information we have about you
• Correct it
• Delete it
• Stop emailing you

Email privacy@floorpop.com or call 817-658-7698. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address we have on file, and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may keep information the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

How we protect information

The site runs on HTTPS, so forms are sent over an encrypted connection. Only Floorpop and the service providers listed above can access the information you send.

No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send passwords, financial account numbers or other sensitive information through our forms or by email. Clients can give us access to analytics or ad accounts by adding us as a user, so passwords never need to be shared.

Children

This site is for professionals at home builders and isn’t directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Where your information is processed

Floorpop is based in the United States. Information you send us is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
